Senator Fetterman firmly rebuffed “Squad” member AOC’s demand for impeachment over Trump’s airstrikes against vital Iranian nuclear targets, stating on “America’s Newsroom” that her proposal is “not going anywhere.”
“Of course, no [he should not be impeached],” the senator asserted. “She knows it. I know it. We all know it… that’s not going anywhere. He’s been impeached twice, yet here he is still serving as president. So, this is not a productive route to pursue.”
The airstrikes, dubbed “Operation Midnight Hammer,” have drawn ire not just from liberal circles but also from some within Trump’s own party, largely due to the lack of congressional approval preceding this military action.
