Max Ehrich, known for his role in television and his brief engagement to Demi Lovato, faces serious legal charges in Florida after an incident involving a family member.
Sources from law enforcement report that Max was taken into custody on Tuesday night, charged with battery against a person aged 65 or older, connecting to claims of domestic violence.
Following his arrest, Max posted a bond of $1,000 and was released the next day.
This arrest comes amid growing concern from fans about Max’s erratic behavior, highlighted by his strange antics during an Instagram Live session earlier that day.
While going live multiple times on Tuesday, his mother was present in the same room, although her connection to the domestic violence charge remains unclear.
Max, best known for his role on “The Young and the Restless,” was briefly engaged to Demi in 2020. Their engagement lasted a couple of months before ending in September of that year.
Max Ehrich starred in 120 episodes of “The Young and the Restless” portraying Fenmore Baldwin and has appeared in films, including “High School Musical 3: Senior Year,” “Southern Gospel,” and “A Cowboy Christmas Romance.”
Attempts to reach Max and his mother for comments have yet to elicit responses.
