The Democrats’ daring initiative to demand free healthcare for undocumented immigrants has led to a significant government shutdown. This shutdown has resulted in many essential workers and members of the military going unpaid, critical programs like WIC facing severe strain, and crucial services left underfunded.

Nationwide, the disruptive tactics of the Radical Left are causing serious consequences:

Arizona

  • KVOA-TV: “The VA will cease assistance programs and career services, close GI Bill hotlines, and shutter benefits offices… Visitor services will face reductions, with park infrastructure remaining intact but without regular upkeep. Special events that require permits will be canceled, and new permits will not be processed. Parks lacking adequate funding will suspend operations, halting all non-essential activities.”
  • Axios Phoenix: “The shutdown may cause congestion at Phoenix Sky Harbor and will necessitate the furlough of thousands of federal workers in the area… Over 34,000 federal employees were employed in Arizona last year… Although airport personnel, including security and air traffic controllers, must continue to work during the shutdown, airport services may still be affected.”
