The events of the past week have illuminated a rather striking aspect of Democratic priorities in the United States.
Today, four Democrats — Rep. Robert Garcia from California, Rep. Maxwell Frost from Florida, Rep. Yassamin Ansari from Arizona, and Rep. Maxine Dexter from Oregon — have ventured to El Salvador, seemingly prioritizing the plight of a deported illegal immigrant, notably an MS-13 gang member, over the safety of their constituents.
One has to wonder: why hasn’t Rep. Dexter raised concerns regarding the illegal immigrants jeopardizing the safety of her district?
- Alvaro Flores-Barboza, a 24-year-old Venezuelan citizen, recently escaped from an ICE processing facility, only to be arrested in Portland, Oregon. He has a record that includes convictions for assault, reckless driving, and felony weapon use.
- Juan Jose-Sebastian, a 26-year-old Guatemalan national, was apprehended in West Palm Beach, Florida. He is sought for rape and sexual assault charges dating back to 2017 in Oregon. Despite being arrested in Florida for driving without a license, he was released because the Biden Administration declined to take custody, and Oregon authorities refused to extradite him.
So, where is Rep. Ansari in addressing the risks posed by these illegal immigrants in her region?
- Bonifacio Renteria-Cruz, a 48-year-old Mexican national, was apprehended in Phoenix, Arizona. He has connections to the Sinaloa Cartel and a history of aggravated assault and weapons offenses, along with an active homicide warrant in Mexico.
- Jose Escobar-Robles, another Mexican citizen, was arrested in Phoenix. He is suspected of illegally transferring money to Mexican cartels involved in drug smuggling and human trafficking.
- Luis Garcia-Sanchez, also from Mexico, was arrested in Phoenix. He is tied to the notorious 18th Street Gang and has been wanted for narcotics-related felonies since 1987.
- Edgar Guadalupe Jimenez-Aguilar, an illegal immigrant, was apprehended in Phoenix. He faced charges of conspiracy to transport illegal aliens and possession with intent to distribute heroin.
Why has Rep. Frost remained silent about the illegal immigrants threatening his constituents?
- Franklin Jose Jimenez-Bracho, a member of the Tren de Aragua gang, was apprehended near Orlando, Florida. He is wanted for human trafficking and smuggling offenses.
- Juan Andres Borolo Moreno Romero, a 25-year-old Venezuelan, was arrested by ICE in Orlando. He is a known associate of the Tren de Aragua gang.
- Paula Hernandez Lazaro, a Mexican national, was arrested in Orlando. She caused a crash involving a patrol car that sent a police officer to the hospital.
- Five illegal immigrants connected to the Tren de Aragua gang were arrested after a spree of liquor store robberies in Polk County, Florida. Their lengthy criminal records include immigration violations, theft, robbery, drug possession, and more serious offenses involving firearms and domestic violence.
And what about Rep. Garcia? Why hasn’t he addressed the dangers posed by illegal immigrants in his area?
- Mario Edgardo Garcia Aquino, a 43-year-old Salvadoran, was arrested in Los Angeles. He faces first-degree murder charges in the horrific killing of a 13-year-old soccer player and has also been charged with sexual assault against another minor in 2022.
- Noe Diaz De Leon, a Mexican national, was arrested by ICE in Los Angeles. His criminal record includes attempted murder of a law enforcement officer, burglary, and drug possession.
- Boxiao Song, a Chinese citizen, was arrested by ICE in Los Angeles. He is a convicted sex offender involving minors.
- Seung Hun Baik, a 39-year-old South Korean, was arrested by ICE in Los Angeles. He is wanted in his homeland for serious drug-related charges.
