Devin Nunes on Mar-a-Lago Raid: A Continuation of the Russia Hoax?
In a recent appearance on Real America’s Voice, former congressman Devin Nunes delved into the controversial details surrounding the alleged “Russia hoax,” particularly its connection to the FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago.
The high-profile raid took place in August 2022, when agents equipped with automatic weapons stormed Trump’s Florida residence, seizing numerous boxes of documents. This unprecedented action was later followed by the appointment of a special counsel by the Department of Justice, tasked with investigating the documents retrieved during the raid.
Revealing the intensity of the situation, court documents disclosed that the FBI was even authorized to use deadly force during the operation, a decision sanctioned by then Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Nunes remarked, “The raid on Mar-a-Lago is a continuation of the same individuals perpetuating this hoax. We need to ask: what exactly were they searching for at Mar-a-Lago?” He asserted that the statute of limitations on this inquiry has not yet expired.
Adding to the conversation, John Solomon speculated, “Perhaps, just perhaps, they were hunting for evidence related to Russian collusion.” Nunes concurred, saying, “My suspicion leans in that direction.” Solomon echoed this sentiment, affirming, “That’s my guess, too.”
“However,” Nunes cautioned, “this remains purely speculative. What’s clear is that the same players are involved in both the Mar-a-Lago raid and the ongoing hoaxes surrounding it. This is an unprecedented action against a former president, executed with the full backing of the Justice Department and a dubious special counsel, Jack Smith.”
“All these elements need to be scrutinized, and I remain hopeful that justice will ultimately prevail,” he concluded.
Devin Nunes: the Mar-a-Lago raid is key to the Russiagate grand conspiracy.
“Same people continue this [Russia] hoax and raid Mar-a-Lago.”
“What were they looking for? My guess it was Russia collusion hoax evidence.

As previously reported by in February 2022, the FBI’s objective during the Mar-a-Lago raid was to access documents related to the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, which potentially implicated the Bureau in various scandals.

In mid-July, Nunes, who led the initial investigation into Russia in 2017, revealed fresh documents indicating that figures like John Brennan and James Comey were aware from the outset that the narrative of ‘Russian collusion’ was largely fabricated by the Clinton campaign.
Yet, the narrative was persistently pushed, significantly undermining President Trump’s first term. Nunes remarked that this information was withheld from investigators until late 2020. During a FOX News interview with Trey Gowdy, who also played a role in the 2017 investigation, Nunes discussed the undisclosed document and the yet-to-be-published report he authored in reaction to the Intelligence Community Assessment on Russia collusion.
