Diddy’s legal team is taking action to prevent potential witnesses from making public statements outside of court. They have requested a judge to impose restrictions on statements made by witnesses and their lawyers, citing one particular grand jury witness, Courtney Burgess, who has been speaking to the press.

According to court documents filed by Diddy’s team, they are seeking an expedited response to their motion for a gag order due to Burgess’ multiple interviews in recent days. Burgess, accompanied by his attorney Ariel Mitchell, was approached by TMZ outside the courthouse, where Mitchell stated that Burgess was called to testify because he possesses or has seen incriminating videos of Diddy and other celebrities.

However, Diddy’s team has vehemently denied these claims, calling them untrue and defamatory. They argue that by not addressing these claims as part of an “extortion scam,” the government is perpetuating online conspiracy theories and hindering Diddy’s chance at a fair trial.

The government has been investigating Diddy for nearly a year, but his lawyers maintain that the alleged “Freak Offs” never involved men, minors, or parties. They specifically point to misinformation in certain media outlets that incorrectly state otherwise.

Diddy, who was arrested in September on charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and prostitution-related offenses, is currently incarcerated at MDC Brooklyn awaiting trial. In addition to his criminal charges, he is also facing civil lawsuits from multiple litigants.

As the legal battle continues, Diddy and his legal team are working to ensure that the facts are accurately represented and that his right to a fair trial is upheld. The ongoing media scrutiny and public statements by witnesses have only added complexity to an already high-profile case.
