During the court proceedings, Sean “Diddy” Combs’ former personal assistant adamantly denied being a “drug mule” for the rapper.
Brendan Paul, the ex-assistant, refuted the claim that arose from a 2024 lawsuit against Combs when questioned by Combs’ lawyer, Brian Steel.
“You were not some ‘drug mule,’ right?” Steel inquired.
“Absolutely not,” Paul responded.
Paul clarified that he was not involved in drug trafficking but rather assisted in transporting drugs for Combs’ personal use.
“What you are doing is on a few occasions out of 18 months, you are talking about a minuscule amount of times getting drugs, right?” Steel probed.
“Yes,” Paul confirmed.
Paul’s association with the term “drug mule” stemmed from a lawsuit brought against Combs by Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones. The $30 million lawsuit is still pending in court.
