Sean “Diddy” Combs Celebrates Halloween Behind Bars
Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Halloween celebration this year will be unlike any other he has experienced before. As he serves his sentence at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center, the music mogul will be skipping the traditional treats that come with the holiday.
According to an MDC spokesperson, there will be “no candy on Halloween” for Diddy and his fellow inmates. Instead, they will start the day with a 6:00 a.m. breakfast consisting of fruit, assorted cereal, and a breakfast pastry.
Five hours later, lunch will be served, offering inmates a choice between baked fish or black beans with rice pilaf, spinach, coleslaw, whole wheat bread, fruit, and a beverage. Dinner at 4 p.m. includes a turkey roast with gravy, mashed potatoes, mixed vegetables, and more whole wheat bread. For those opting out of meat, two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are available as an alternative.
Despite the lack of candy and traditional Halloween festivities, Diddy has previously gone all out for the holiday, hosting parties and dressing up in elaborate costumes. In 2023, he even donned a Batman costume from Christopher Nolan’s Dark Knight franchise.
Currently held at MDC on charges of transportation to engage in prostitution, sex trafficking, and racketeering conspiracy, Diddy has maintained his innocence. In July, he was found guilty on two counts of transportation but acquitted of other charges, ultimately receiving a 50-month prison sentence.
Scheduled for release on May 8, 2028, Diddy’s legal team has filed a notice of appeal, seeking to challenge both the conviction and sentence. They have raised concerns about the conditions at MDC, citing issues such as constant suicide watch, limited access to clean water, and lack of access to healthy food.
