Chad Ollinger, known for his appearance on Discovery Channel’s “Mystery at Blind Frog Ranch”, is facing a serious accusation after his cellmate was discovered dead inside a Las Vegas jail.

Las Vegas Metro Police reported that corrections officers found a male inmate unresponsive in a cell at Clark County Detention Center during a routine check. The inmate displayed signs of blunt force injuries.

The inmate was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities confirmed that Ollinger, the victim’s cellmate, was taken into custody following the incident. Investigators concluded that a physical altercation between Ollinger and the victim occurred in the cell prior to the inmate’s death.

Ollinger now faces a charge of open murder, as confirmed by a spokesperson from Clark County Detention Center.

It was revealed that Ollinger had been incarcerated since October on charges of being a fugitive from another state, in addition to facing a contempt of court charge.
