UK professional services company DJH has recently expanded its South East network with the acquisition of Loucas Accountants, a Kent-based firm that has been serving owner-managed businesses since 1974. The growth of Loucas from a single-desk operation to a multi-office practice caught the attention of DJH, leading to this strategic acquisition.

Athos Louca, the managing director of Loucas, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership with DJH, stating that it will provide their clients and team with a wider platform while maintaining over 50 years of relationship-first culture. This move is expected to benefit clients across Kent and the South East region.

This acquisition marks DJH’s second deal in the South East, following their purchase of McBrides in 2025. The addition of Loucas to their portfolio is part of DJH’s strategy to expand their reach in the region and cater to clients in London.

CEO Scott Heath highlighted the importance of the South East as an entrepreneurial hub in the UK, emphasizing the growing demand for high-quality business advice and consultancy services. He sees Loucas as a perfect fit for DJH, with a strong track record, an expert team, and a loyal client base.

The Loucas deal is the 20th acquisition for DJH since 2020, showcasing their commitment to growth and expansion. With the support of private equity investor Tenzing, DJH now boasts a workforce of approximately 800 employees across the UK and Ireland.

In addition to the Loucas acquisition, DJH recently strengthened its presence in the Liverpool area by adding SB&P, a Bootle-based accountancy practice, to their group. These strategic moves demonstrate DJH’s focus on expanding their footprint in key regions and enhancing their service offerings to clients.
