The cancellation of “Doctor Odyssey” also comes on the heels of a lawsuit filed by three former crew members against Disney and 20th Television. The lawsuit alleges that the studio turned a blind eye to a culture of sexual harassment on set, with assistant prop master Tyler Patton accused of making inappropriate sexual comments and gestures, as well as engaging in unwanted touching.
“Doctor Odyssey” followed the story of Dr. Max Bankman, played by Joshua Jackson, as he navigated medical emergencies on a luxury cruise ship called the Odyssey. The cast also included Phillipa Soo as nurse practitioner Avery Morgan, Sean Teale as nurse Tristan Silva, and Don Johnson as ship captain Robert Massey.
