New Developments in Search for Missing Autistic Teen in Tennessee

A new breakthrough has emerged in the search for a missing 15-year-old autistic boy in Tennessee, with celebrity bounty hunter Duane Chapman, also known as “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” joining the effort.

Sebastian Rogers, who has “high-functioning autism” according to his mother, was last seen in his Hendersonville home on the evening of Feb. 25.

Initial search efforts were extensive, but authorities scaled back resources after thorough sweeps of the area yielded no signs of the boy. Sebastian was not captured on any nearby surveillance cameras either.

Chapman has announced that promising leads have been found, with information coming from Oregon and New York. The reward for information leading to Sebastian’s whereabouts has been raised to $175,000.

Sebastian was reported missing by his mother when she went to wake him for school on Feb. 26. His mother and stepfather, with whom he was living at the time, have been cooperating with authorities in the search.

Chapman, along with Sebastian’s biological father, Seth Rogers, is leading the search efforts to bring attention back to the case and find the missing teenager.

AtNight Intelligence, a private investigation company working alongside Chapman, has identified credible leads in Oregon and New York. While there have been no verified sightings of Sebastian, the investigation is actively pursuing these leads across multiple states.

Efforts have also been made to involve federal resources in the search for Sebastian, with discussions held with former President Donald J. Trump’s team. The incoming administration has indicated plans to allocate significant resources to the case starting in February.

Chapman’s team and AtNight Intelligence are urging anyone with information on Sebastian’s whereabouts to contact Chapman’s tip line, the Sumner County Sheriff’s Office, or the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Individuals can also submit tips through local FBI offices or online at tips.fbi.gov.
