Donald Trump recently issued a brutal clapback to Rosie O’Donnell and Joy Behar, cohosts on The View, after O’Donnell claimed that the show was at risk of being canceled due to its highly critical opinions of the president. In a TikTok post on Thursday, August 7, O’Donnell expressed her concerns about the alleged bias review, suggesting that it was a precursor to the show’s cancellation. She also hinted at sexism being a factor in ABC’s scrutiny of the show’s left-leaning stance.
Furthermore, O’Donnell pointed out that The View, with its predominantly female panel and outspoken opinions, may be deemed too controversial by the network. She specifically mentioned Joy Behar, another former cohost, who has been vocal in her criticism of Trump, including referring to the January 6 insurrection as more than just a “tourist visit.”
