President Trump Comments on Potential Pardon for Joe Exotic
In a recent press conference in the Oval Office, President Trump hinted at the possibility of pardoning Joe Exotic, the star of the hit Netflix series “Tiger King.” When asked about the matter, the President stated that while no one has officially requested a pardon, he is aware that people are considering it.
“I know they’re thinking about it. I think some people have been very close to asking,” President Trump said. He went on to mention that he hasn’t been closely following the situation, but acknowledged that it has garnered significant media attention.
Regarding his relationship with Joe Exotic, President Trump admitted that they have not been in contact for years. He mentioned that Joe Exotic used to be a fan of his, but their relationship soured when Trump entered politics. Despite this, the President emphasized that he would base his decision on the facts of the case, rather than personal feelings.
“If I think somebody was mistreated, whether they like me or don’t like me, it wouldn’t have any impact,” President Trump concluded.
It remains to be seen whether Joe Exotic will receive a presidential pardon, but President Trump’s comments have certainly sparked speculation on the matter.
