Australian Man Arrested for Praising ISIS-loving Father and Son Behind Bondi Beach Massacre

An Australian man has been arrested after allegedly praising the ISIS-loving father and son accused of carrying out the antisemitic Bondi Beach massacre on social media. Martin Thomas Glynn, 39, was taken into custody when police discovered a cache of weapons, ammunition, and terrorist flags in his Perth home.

During a raid on Glynn’s residence, authorities found six rifles, approximately 4,000 rounds of ammunition, and banners belonging to terror groups Hamas and Hezbollah. Additionally, disturbing notebooks referencing Hitler and the Holocaust, along with a “shopping list” of materials to make explosives, were uncovered.

Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese condemned the antisemitic behavior, stating that there is no place for hate and violent ideologies in Australia. He commended the swift action taken by WA Police in apprehending Glynn.

Glynn’s arrest came after he made several antisemitic posts on social media, including expressing support for alleged terror suspects Sajid Akram, 50, and his 24-year-old son Naveed Akram, who carried out the Hanukkah celebration attack at Bondi Beach on Dec. 14.

In one of his alarming Instagram posts, Glynn pledged his support to the New South Wales shooters and expressed his lack of sympathy for casualties, citing Palestinians killed by Israel in Gaza. Naveed is facing 59 charges, including 15 counts of murder and one count of committing a terrorist act.

Representing himself in court, Glynn claimed to be a “doomsday prepper” rather than a violent person. He stated that his actions were intended to raise awareness about the conflict between Israel and Hamas. However, authorities are working to revoke his gun license and seize his firearms.

Glynn has been charged with intent to racially harass, possessing a prohibited weapon, and failing to properly store firearms. The magistrate emphasized that while supporting the Palestinian cause is not illegal, advocating for the massacre of innocent civilians is unacceptable.

The accused is currently held without bail and is scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 3. Authorities are continuing to investigate the extent of Glynn’s involvement and any potential threats he may pose to the community.
