Arizona College Professor Investigated for Alleged Inappropriate Behavior in Class
An Arizona college professor is under investigation for allegedly making his students strip in front of him and their classmates, flirting with coeds, and forcing them to watch orgy porn during class, as reported by the Arizona Republic.
The professor, Mace Archer, 56, who teaches drama at Mesa Community College, is facing accusations of inappropriate sexual conduct. Students claim that the college ignored their complaints for months before launching an investigation.
Allegations against Archer include coaching a student to use her personal experience of sexual assault for performances, straddling a student in class, and playing orgy porn videos. One of the most disturbing accusations is that he coerced three female students to strip on stage.
Under the guise of “vulnerability exercises,” Archer allegedly made students, some of whom were teenagers, strip down to their underwear or nothing at all in front of him and their peers. School officials are now investigating the matter.
Gabrielle Monroe, a student in Archer’s class, stated that the midterm was supposed to help students face their fears, but it turned into a situation where students ended up nude. She described the uncomfortable experience of witnessing classmates undress in silence.
Despite the serious nature of the allegations, school officials have not disclosed if the actions violate any explicit policies. The investigation is ongoing, and the appropriate actions will be taken based on the outcome.
Mace Archer, who was hired by Mesa Community College in 2021, has a background in theater academia and has worked at various institutions before. The Mesa Police Department has not initiated an investigation into the matter.
Archer did not respond to requests for comment on the allegations.
