Drew McIntyre Issues a Public Service Announcement for WWE Fans Ahead of WrestleMania 41
As WWE WrestleMania 41 approaches, Drew McIntyre has taken to Twitter to send a crucial message to wrestling fans attending the Show of Shows at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend. In his public service announcement, the Scottish Warrior emphasized the importance of respect towards both fellow fans and the wrestlers they encounter during the event.
McIntyre urged fans to maintain hygiene by wearing deodorant, show support for independent wrestling, avoid lingering around the airport, refrain from approaching wrestlers at their hotels, resist interrupting their private conversations, and abstain from addressing them by their real names. He stressed the significance of respecting personal space, likening wrestlers’ hotel accommodations to their homes for the duration of the event.
“Stay away from the hotel, that is a safe space. Imagine that is our house, because it is our house for the week, it is our home for the week. We have our family and friends there, and some of the superstars have kids. Respect personal space. Would you like someone coming into your house, shoving a camera in your face and your kid’s face? Think of it that way,” McIntyre emphasized.
In another heartfelt gesture, McIntyre extended his well wishes to Kevin Owens, who unfortunately had to withdraw from WrestleMania 41 due to a neck injury. Speaking on the Getting Over podcast with Adam Silverstein, McIntyre expressed sympathy for Owens’ situation and hoped for his swift recovery, acknowledging the challenges of facing unexpected setbacks in the wrestling industry.
“Drew McIntyre will be squaring off against Damian Priest in a Sin City Street Fight at WWE WrestleMania 41 this weekend.”
Damian Priest, who cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on McIntyre at last year’s WrestleMania event, will once again face off against the Scottish Warrior in what promises to be an intense showdown. As fans eagerly anticipate the outcome of the Sin City Street Fight, the wrestling world gears up for one of the most anticipated events of the year.
As the wrestling community comes together for WrestleMania 41, Drew McIntyre’s messages of respect and support serve as a reminder of the camaraderie and sportsmanship that define the spirit of professional wrestling. With the stage set for an unforgettable weekend of action and excitement, fans and wrestlers alike are poised to make memories that will last a lifetime.
