Musician Survives Near-Death Experience and Plane Crash
Six years ago, musician Williams found himself in the midst of a mass shooting in Dayton, Ohio, where nine people tragically lost their lives inside a bar. Williams narrowly escaped the shooter, Connor Betts, who was later shot dead by law enforcement officers.
After the terrifying incident, Williams shared his harrowing experience of the near-death encounter. However, his survival story took another unexpected turn recently when his private Cessna plane crashed around 4 am Pacific time.
Williams, who had taken a break from music eight years ago, had shared a picture of himself at the controls of the plane on Instagram with the caption: “Here we gooooo.” In another post shortly before the flight, he tagged Shapiro, the owner of the plane, who had previously worked with Williams in a Christian metal band.
Just before takeoff, Williams posted another picture of the plane’s controls with the caption: “Hey. Hey… you… look at me … I’m the (co)pilot now.”
