Dynamic Television, a collaboration between L.A. and Stockholm, has acquired the global rights to the highly anticipated Swedish drama thriller, “Till Death Do Us Apart” (“Tills döden skiljer oss”). This engaging series brings together some of Sweden’s leading talents, including writer Veronica Zacco, known for her work on “Top Dog” and “Quicksand,” director Julia Lindström from “Young Royals” and “Riding in Darkness,” along with actors Aliette Opheim, celebrated for her roles in “Patriot” and “Black Crab,” and Filip Berg from “A Man Called Ove” and “Black Lake.”
The six-episode series is currently in production and is being produced by Harmonica Films in cooperation with TV4, SF Studios Production, and Film Stockholm AB, with a premiere date set for 2026.
Dynamic Television is set to unveil the series at the upcoming Mipcom content market in Cannes.
The captivating storyline centers on Malin (Opheim), whose life spirals when her husband Tobias (Berg) becomes the prime suspect in a murder case. Convinced of his innocence, she takes on the role of his defense lawyer. However, as hidden secrets come to light and previously established truths turn out to be fabrications, Malin grapples with a chilling dilemma: Is her husband guilty?
“Till Death Do Us Apart is a compelling series that intricately fuses elements of crime, suspense, and drama,” commented Annika Schmidt, head of German Originals & European co-productions for Dynamic Television. “With its richly developed characters and unexpected plot twists, we believe that this series will deeply resonate with audiences around the globe.”
