The Feud Between Ed Sheeran and Rapper Cousin Alonestar Escalates Over Album Cover Dispute
Ed Sheeran’s cousin, who goes by the name Alonestar, recently made explosive claims on Facebook regarding a dispute over the artwork of a remix of their collaboration song titled Raise Em Up. The song, recorded together 14 years ago, has now become a source of contention between the two relatives.
Alonestar accused Ed of instructing the record label to remove his name and face from the artwork, sparking outrage and frustration from the rapper. In a scathing Facebook post, Alonestar expressed his disappointment in Ed’s actions, stating, “Ed, I’m not a fan, can’t you just live your life? Leave me alone to do my thing and you do yours.”
Alonestar further revealed that he was tired of keeping the truth hidden and blamed Ed for the ordeal. He alleged that it was Ed who had activated Warner Music UK’s lawyer to handle the dispute, contradicting the common belief that lawyers and managers were solely responsible for such matters. He boldly declared, “‘It was all Ed. I don’t care anymore, I’m not gonna lie for him.”
The public feud between Ed Sheeran and Alonestar has caught the attention of fans and media alike, with many speculating about the underlying issues that have caused this rift between the cousins. As the controversy continues to unfold, it remains to be seen how the two will resolve their differences and whether legal action will be taken to address the album cover dispute.
