Takes Action Against Kanye on X Following Explicit Content Posts

Kanye West‘s X account has been deactivated after days of antisemitic, misogynistic, and racist rants. The final straw for Elon Musk was Kanye’s continuous posting of explicit content.
Elon Musk responded to a concerned X user’s request to ban Kanye from the platform due to the explicit content. Musk classified Kanye’s account as NSFW to prevent further exposure to inappropriate material.
Musk’s statement regarding Kanye’s posts: “Given what he has posted, his account is now classified as NSFW. You should not be seeing that anymore.”
Kanye appears to have deleted his X account after expressing gratitude to Musk for allowing him to express himself. Kanye described his controversial rant as “very cathartic,” likening it to using the world as a “sounding board” similar to an Ayahuasca trip.
Despite Kanye’s explicit content, his recent actions included hate speech that aimed to “normalize talking about Hitler” after he identified as a Nazi.
Celebrities like David Schwimmer have called on Musk to take action against Kanye, citing the potential real-life consequences of his hate speech, especially towards the Jewish community.
Kanye’s presence on the platform has been removed, at least temporarily.
