Emilie Kiser is openly addressing the difficult realities of grief following the passing of her 3-year-old son, Trigg.
On Wednesday, October 8, Kiser, 26, shared a “Get ready with me” video on TikTok and interacted with her viewers. One commenter, who identified as a fellow griever, inquired if she was âtaking medicationâ in these challenging times.
Kiser replied that she is not on any medication, as reported by People. The influencer, who also has a 6-month-old son named Theodore with her husband Brady Kiser, opened up about her coping mechanisms following Trigg’s death.
âI attended a grief retreat soon after losing Trigg and received some guidance, and I opted not to pursue medication following that,â Emilie stated, sharing her decision to avoid pharmaceutical aids for coping.
She also encouraged the commenter to âdefinitely speak to a professional and just do what feels right for you.â
Us Weekly reported in May that Emilie and Bradyâs older son, Trigg, tragically drowned in their Arizona backyard pool.
The Chandler Police Department stated, âThe investigation into the circumstances of this incident is still ongoing. It remains an open investigation, and we will not be releasing additional information until it is concluded to respect the family’s privacy.â

Us confirmed on June 2 that the investigation concluded without any further action. The Maricopa County Attorneyâs Office later stated that there was âno likelihood of convictionâ against Brady, who was present during the tragic incident.
Emilie and Brady are continuing to heal as a family and Emilie resumed her social media presence in August.
âCoping with this level of loss feels impossible to articulate,â Emilie shared on Instagram on August 28. âIâve dedicated days, weeks, and months attempting to express my feelings, while also allowing myself the necessary time to process the loss of my child.â
She emphasized, âTrigg was our little angel and our closest friend. The joy and light he infused into this world was undeniable and pure. Every moment without him is a heart-wrenching experience, and moving forward often feels like an insurmountable challenge. I never imagined I would face this kind of grief so suddenly.â

Emilie expressed her commitment to âtaking full responsibilityâ as Triggâs mother, acknowledging, âI should have taken more measures to safeguard him.â She aims to turn this tragedy into a cautionary tale to help other families avoid similar loss, as she honors Trigg’s memory.
In the following month, Emilie returned to TikTok, gaining over 4.9 million followers while sharing updates about her family’s journey through grief.
Recently, Emilie, who has since begun therapy, expressed gratitude toward health professionals via her social media on October 7, stating, âYour strength in helping others every single day deeply moves me, particularly now as I reflect on my grief journey and my conversations with my therapist. You all are incredible đ.â
