Netflix has officially announced the renewal of the popular series “Emily in Paris” for a sixth season. The show, which stars Lily Collins as the titular character Emily Cooper, follows her journey as a marketing professional from the U.S. who relocates to Paris and later Italy for a new job opportunity.
In the latest season, which premiered in December, Emily finds herself in Rome as the head of Agence Grateau. She faces both professional and romantic challenges as she navigates life in a new city. However, a work idea gone wrong leads to heartbreak and career setbacks. Despite the obstacles, Emily embraces her French lifestyle and confronts conflicts with honesty, ultimately emerging with deeper connections and a readiness to embrace new possibilities.
The ensemble cast of “Emily in Paris” includes Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, and other talented actors who bring the story to life. The show’s fifth season debuted on the Netflix Top 10 at No. 2, garnering 13.5 million views in its first four days of streaming and maintaining its popularity with 13.3 million views the following week.
