Jasmine Ray, the former girlfriend of Eric Adams, has shared intimate and revealing details about her clandestine relationship with the mayor in a sensational tell-all — including moments when she soothed him by rubbing a scar on his head.
“In the moments we were closest, I would caress the back of Eric’s head, where an old surgery scar made him feel vulnerable,” Ray, 42, stated in her upcoming memoir, “Political Humanity,” scheduled for release this Sunday.
“He could remain still for hours if I kept my hand there, as if my touch alleviated something that no one else could reach.”
Ray mentioned that she and Adams dated from 2014 to 2016, and that they still maintain a close friendship. She recounted the whirlwind romance that began when she noticed the then-Brooklyn borough president sporting a “Mr. Rogers sweater” at Barclays Center.
The couple soon enjoyed a romantic stroll along Brooklyn Heights’ Promenade, during which Adams engaged her in profound discussions — uncovering a shared perspective on the “meaning of life.”
“I blurted out the first thought that struck me: ‘To procreate,’” Ray recalled, illustrating Adams’ surprise.
“That was precisely his sentiment as well.”
During the early phases of their romance, Adams invited Ray to a hotel opening, leading her to a room — where they shared a platonic yet intimate experience, according to the self-published memoir, a copy of which was obtained by The Post.
Ray emphasized her decision not to sleep with Adams, to which he simply replied that he just wanted to get some rest, she noted.
“Moments later, I laid down,” the memoir states. “He did as well — fully clothed, with not a belt unfastened. He rested his head on my chest and quickly fell asleep. In that quiet room, fully clothed, it became one of the most intimate experiences I had ever encountered.”
Heartbroken, Ray reflected on how their split a decade ago has made it difficult for her to find love again.
In an effort to move on from Adams, she expressed a desire for him to “release” her this year.
“Without hesitation, he responded ‘no,’” she wrote. “I wasn’t prompted to elaborate. I wasn’t even asked why. We both understood the implication. But in this moment, through these words, for the sake of my sanity and well-being, I am releasing myself.”
