Outgoing New York Mayor Eric Adams has a cheeky suggestion for how residents can stay warm amidst the recent heavy snowstorm that hit the city.
Following a winter storm that blanketed the Big Apple with over 4 inches of snow, Adams mentioned to New York City’s ABC7NY that people should make the most of their time indoors.
When asked whether New Yorkers should brave the cold or stay cozy at home, he humorously replied, “Stay home. This is a perfect day for making babies, you know. Enjoy the comfort of home.”
“Just relax and watch some Netflix,” Adams added, giving a nod to the sanitation workers who are working tirelessly to maintain the city’s cleanliness and safety.
With a chuckle, anchor Pedro Rivera quizzed the mayor about the possibility of a “baby boom” in the summer.
“Absolutely, we’re aiming to boost the population,” Adams quipped with a smile.
