Genshin Impact Version 6.3, also known as “Luna IV,” is on the horizon, and fans are eagerly anticipating the new content and characters it will bring. The update will introduce two highly anticipated 5-star characters, Columbina Hyposelenia and Zibai, both of whom are closely tied to the “Lunar” and “Hydro” combat systems.
Columbina, a Hydro catalyst user, is designed to enhance Lunar Reactions within the team. Her Elemental Skill, “Moon Ring,” continuously deals Hydro damage and builds resources for a powerful special attack triggered by Lunar Reactions. Her Elemental Burst provides a significant Lunar Reaction damage bonus to the entire party. Zibai, a Geo sword user, introduces a new main DPS playstyle centered around the Lunar-Crystallize reaction. By entering an enhanced state with her Elemental Skill, Zibai can deal high-frequency reaction damage that benefits from DEF and Elemental Mastery.
Accompanying Zibai is Illuga, a Geo polearm user who serves as a dedicated support character. His Elemental Burst grants a buff to the active character, enhancing Geo or reaction damage and providing additional benefits to Geo teammates. Together, Zibai and Illuga offer a new dynamic to team compositions and gameplay strategies.
In addition to the new characters, Version 6.3 will also introduce new artifacts sets, such as “Aubade of Morningstar and Moon” and “Wherever a Breeze Blows.” These sets provide bonuses that enhance Lunar Reaction damage and benefit characters related to the “Hexenzirkel” respectively.
The update is scheduled to be released on January 14, 2026, and will be available on various platforms including PC, iOS, Android, PS, and Xbox devices. With the arrival of Version 6.3, players can expect new challenges, rewards, and opportunities to further explore the world of Genshin Impact. Stay tuned for more updates and get ready to embark on new adventures in the world of Teyvat.
