James Handy, born in New York City on March 19, 1945, made his mark in the acting world starting in the late 1970s. His initial roles included appearances in Taps, The Verdict, Burglar, Bird, Search for Tomorrow, and Our Family Honor.
Following this, Handy expanded his career significantly. He accumulated a wide range of credits in productions such as K-9, The Rocketeer, Unbreakable, 15 Minutes, Guarding Tess, Suburbicon, The OJ Simpson Story, Melrose Place, The X-Files, Law & Order, CSI: NY, Criminal Minds, NCIS: Los Angeles, Cold Case, 9-1-1, and Walker, Texas Ranger, among others.
In addition to these roles, Handy was noted for his supporting performances in films like Logan, Jumanji, Arachnophobia, and Top Gun: Maverick. He also had recurring roles in series such as Alias, NYPD Blue, and Profiler.
