In June 2024, rumors began circulating about a possible romance between the Black and White actress and businessman Jamie Mazur after they were seen together enjoying a walk in New York City’s Central Park.
A source revealed to People at that time, “[Mazur] was initially just a confidant and someone safe that she could talk to. They’ve been dating for a couple of months now. He’s added a spark to her life. She seems much happier and more relaxed.”
In a Us Weekly cover story published in February 2025, Bijou expressed her admiration for Jamie, describing him as “amazing.”
“He’s, you know, on lots of group texts, and he’s constantly he’s pushed me a lot to really try and find a kidney,” she mentioned. “I just am like, ‘Oh, well, this is how it is. It’s whatever.’ And he’s like, ‘No, call the doctor again and call this person again and call this [number] again. Why hasn’t this been done yet?’ He gets me to, like, fight where I wouldn’t probably have fought.”
She further shared, “My boyfriend, Jamie, has been wonderful, and all of my friends. I have just such a great group of friends. They’re amazing. We’re all in group chats and, you know, plotting.”
