Former NFL star Eddie Lacy found himself in hot water last month when he was arrested for driving under the influence. The Scottsdale Police Department reported that Lacy was driving erratically, prompting a concerned citizen to call 911. When officers pulled him over, they immediately noticed that something was off about the ex-Green Bay Packers running back.

Body cam footage revealed that Lacy’s speech was slow, slurred, and mumbled, indicating that he was likely impaired. Despite claiming that he had only consumed a single shot of tequila on his flight into Arizona, Lacy blew a staggering .325 on a breathalyzer test, which is over four times the legal limit.

Although Lacy admitted to having a previous DUI charge, he couldn’t recall the legal limit for alcohol consumption in Arizona. As a result, he was arrested and now faces criminal charges, including extreme DUI with a blood alcohol content greater than .20.

This isn’t the first time Lacy has faced legal trouble for driving under the influence. In March 2022, he was accused of driving with a BAC of .247 in Scottsdale. Despite his past indiscretions, Lacy continues to make appearances as a former NFL player, including a recent alumni event at Lambeau Field.

It’s clear that Lacy’s actions have consequences, and he will have to face a judge in the coming weeks to address the latest DUI charge. Hopefully, this serves as a wake-up call for the former football star to seek help and address any underlying issues that may be contributing to his reckless behavior.
