Former White House attorney Ty Cobb had some strong words for Donald Trump in a recent interview with CNN’s Erin Burnett. Cobb described Trump as “demented” and said that his narcissism has gotten out of control. He criticized Trump for repeatedly pushing baseless conspiracy theories about the 2020 election and for constantly airing grievances and seeking revenge.
Cobb went on to say that he believes Trump’s mental state is deteriorating and that he is no longer perceived as sane by people outside of the United States. He also suggested that some Americans are in denial about Trump’s mental decline because they are too invested in him.
In a separate interview on MS NOW’s “The Beat With Ari Melber,” Cobb reiterated his concerns about Trump’s mental acuity. He pointed to a recent press conference where Trump rambled and seemed to struggle to stay on topic.
Cobb suggested that Trump’s behavior is not just driven by narcissism, but also by dementia and cognitive decline. He mentioned that many experts, including physicians, have noticed this decline, even though Trump has not been officially diagnosed with a cognitive disorder.
