A shocking incident unfolded in Tennessee as a mother, Angelia Solomon, was arrested for allegedly planning to murder her ex-husband, Aaron Solomon, a former Nashville news anchor. The disturbing plot came to light when Angelia met with an undercover police officer at a shopping mall in Franklin, just south of Nashville, to discuss eliminating her ex-husband.
During the meeting, Angelia reportedly provided the officer with her vehicle registration and promised payment to make her ex “disappear and be put underground.” She also shared details about how the officer could locate Aaron, including his workplace and residential area. The motive behind the planned murder was said to be linked to their daughter gaining access to a trust fund upon Aaron’s death.
This isn’t the first time the Solomons have been in the news. In 2020, Angelia accused Aaron of killing their 18-year-old son, Grant Solomon. Grant’s death was ruled an accident after he was run over by his own car, with authorities confirming no criminal act was involved. The family has a history of serious allegations against Aaron, with their daughter, Gracie, even accusing him of sexual abuse in a YouTube video.
Despite these allegations, Aaron has not faced any charges in connection with the incidents. Court documents revealed that a temporary restraining order was issued against Angelia in 2014 due to her continuous baseless accusations of abuse against Aaron. The documents also highlighted concerns about Angelia’s mental health and limited her visitation rights with her children.
Angelia was arrested for solicitation to commit first-degree murder and is currently held on a $500,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court for a reduction hearing on Tuesday. The case has sent shockwaves through the community and brought attention to the complexities of family dynamics and legal processes in cases of alleged domestic violence and abuse.
