In public appearances, Ben Affleck has maintained a diplomatic stance regarding his split from second wife, Jennifer Lopez. He told GQ in March, “I have nothing but respect,” adding that their separation involved “no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue,” according to RadarOnline.com.

Although Affleck’s production company worked on her film Unstoppable and the soon-to-be-released musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, an insider has disclosed to RadarOnline.com that the couple’s dynamic behind closed doors is not as cordial as portrayed.

Reportedly, the Oscar-winning actor has stopped replying to the On the Floor singer’s messages since their split in April 2024 after just two years of marriage.

“Jennifer has stopped leaving messages because he never responds, which she finds utterly demeaning,” says the informant. “Even a birthday call went unanswered, which has become sadly typical.” She now only receives minimal responses, sometimes just acknowledgment in the form of a “like” on social media posts, as the majority of communication is funneled through assistants or lawyers.

The situation is exacerbated as the couple is still trying to sell their extravagant Beverly Hills home priced at $68 million, while also needing to promote Spider Woman together.
