A radical leftist protester attacked a senior aide to Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. during an event at the United Nations this week, pursuing her through the lobby and even into a restroom stall while hurling abusive language, according to law enforcement sources.
The disturbing incident occurred around 2 p.m. on Thursday, when Patricia Schuh, 62, reportedly flashed a bright light in Sara Kennedy’s face while shouting “Free Palestine!” along with aggressive pro-LGBT remarks. She then allegedly chased Kennedy across the lobby, authorities stated.
Kennedy—who is not related to her boss at HHS—“rushed into the bathroom and sought refuge in a stall, but Schuh followed her and scratched her right eye, possibly with either her phone or some jewelry,” sources noted.
The shaken staff member received on-site care from Emergency Medical Services but declined further medical treatment.
As Schuh purportedly filmed the ordeal on her phone, she was charged with assault and harassment, according to the reports.
She faced a court arraignment on the charges Friday night and was released since the charges did not qualify for bail, as stated by a spokesperson for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.
A spokesperson for RFK Jr.’s office remarked that Kennedy underwent a “terrifying assault … at the hands of a pro-Hamas leftist radical at the United Nations.”

“Sara has gone through a great deal in the past three days,” the spokesman added.
Kennedy was unavailable for comment.
When contacted at her East Village residence, Schuh declined to discuss her case.
“I can’t comment due to the legal circumstances,” she stated when reached by The Post. “I would if I were able, but I am not.”
RFK Jr. attended a meeting at UN headquarters on 45th Street focused on preventing noncommunicable diseases.
The 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly commenced on September 9 and has seen a series of nearly daily pro-Palestinian demonstrations, coinciding with an address from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu scheduled for Friday.
On Tuesday, about 60 protesters were arrested close to the UN during a demonstration featuring over 150 individuals holding signs with inflammatory messages like “Abolish Israel.”
