
Sharon Osbourne has raised new alarm bells regarding her health after an emotional breakdown on-screen.

RadarOnline.com reports that Sharon Osbourne has ignited fresh worries for her health after visibly breaking down while recounting the tragic death of Randy Rhoads, the guitarist who died in a plane crash during her husband Ozzy Osbourne‘s early solo career.
The 72-year-old television icon and manager became emotional in the new Hulu docuseries, Into the Void: Life, Death & Heavy Metal, where she shares her heartfelt reflections.
During the premiere episode, she reminisces about the devastating event in 1982 that took the lives of Rhoads, who was only 25, and Rachel Youngblood, a close aide whom Sharon regarded as a maternal figure.

The incident took place when the band’s bus halted near Leesburg; the driver, who also piloted a small plane, took Rhoads and Youngblood for a flight while Sharon and Ozzy remained inside the bus that the plane eventually collided with.
A source close to the family shared, “Viewers witnessing Sharon break down are naturally concerned. She has faced numerous health challenges and is currently mourning the loss of Ozzy. Watching her so distressed only heightens fears that she is struggling.”
Another insider remarked, “This isn’t merely a trip down memory lane; the trauma is evidently still very present for her.”
In the documentary, she recollects the moment when she woke up to the sound of a sudden impact.
“It was like a scene from a horror film, a chaotic mix—body parts everywhere—and I found myself screaming at the tour manager, taking off my shoe and hitting him for his negligence,” she recounted.

Drummer Tommy Aldridge recalled the tragic moment saying, “When Sharon realized what had happened to Randy and Rachel, she completely lost it.”
He added that Sharon lost her composure, shouting at the tour manager, “How could you allow a young man like that to board that plane?”
Bassist Rudy Sarzo described leaving the crash scene, seeking solace in a nearby church, stating, “I could hear cries and sobs, and when I looked, it was Ozzy, engulfed in sorrow.”
For Sharon, the emotional fallout was profound.
“We lingered in disbelief for what felt eternity, only to grapple with how to explain this tragedy to Randy’s mother,” she said, visibly emotional during her interview.

In 2004, Ozzy was posthumously honored with his induction into Hollywood’s RockWalk alongside his family.

“It’s clear why I was hesitant to speak about Randy,” she explained.
She expressed her fears of losing Ozzy, who was battling addiction, saying she was terrified that halting the tour would mean losing him to substance abuse.
Sarzo added, “Sharon was the anchor, keeping everything on track. We understood that if Ozzy went home, that would lead to disastrous consequences.”
While they pressed on with the tour, Aldridge remarked that nothing felt the same.

Ozzy passed away on July 22, at the age of 76, following a lengthy struggle with Parkinson’s disease.
“Randy was the heartbeat of our operation, and his loss made everything incredibly difficult,” Sarzo expressed.
Ozzy has honored Randy’s legacy long after his passing, highlighting his importance in his life and career.
In 2004, Ozzy was posthumously inducted into Hollywood’s RockWalk, honored for his significant contributions to music.
Sharon stated, “I often think about Randy and cherish that he remains remembered. His mystique and the stories surrounding him will never fade away.”
The heartfelt interview with Sharon was recorded in June 2025, just weeks prior to Ozzy’s passing on July 22, aged 76, due to complications from Parkinson’s disease.
