Together, they stress the importance of utilizing the profits generated by the fossil fuel industry to create a more equitable future for all.

She calls on the UK Government to endorse the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty, a global initiative championed by climate vulnerable Pacific island states. The Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty has garnered support from 16 national governments and various cities in the UK, including Birmingham, Glasgow, and London. Trade unions, such as Public Services International and UNISON, have also thrown their weight behind the campaign, advocating for a fossil-free future and a sustainable global transition.
