Four-Vehicle Crash in Aurora Leaves One Person Dead, Roads Closed
Police in Aurora are currently investigating a tragic four-vehicle crash that resulted in the death of at least one person. The incident has led to the closure of several roads in the eastern Aurora area, according to authorities.
The Aurora Police Department first reported the fatal crash at the intersection of South Gun Club Road and East Jewell Avenue on Sunday at 5:18 p.m. As a result, sections of Gun Club Road between Jewell and East Hampden avenues have been shut down while cleanup and investigation efforts are underway.
Motorists are advised to steer clear of the affected area and seek alternative routes whenever possible.
Details regarding the cause of the crash, the number of individuals injured or killed, the types of vehicles involved, and the events leading up to the collision were not immediately disclosed on Sunday.
Authorities have confirmed that at least one person lost their life in the crash. The identities of the crash victims will be released by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office.
