FBI’s Pursuit of Protesters Following ICE Raid in Paramount
In the aftermath of an immigration enforcement operation at a Home Depot in Paramount, California, FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino has made it clear that the agency is on the hunt for individuals caught on video hurling rocks at vehicles belonging to ICE and other federal agencies. This confrontation unfolded on Saturday, igniting tensions in the community.
Footage from the scene shows multiple protesters, one of whom donned a distinctive yellow motorcycle helmet, launching projectiles at close range.
Bongino asserted, “We are currently seeking information regarding the identity of the person(s) throwing rocks at vehicles conducting critical law enforcement operations. One of the perpetrators in this video is wearing a helmet, and we’re going to use our investigative tools to locate the individual. I strongly suggest you turn yourself in; it’s only a matter of time.”

Earlier on the same day, Bongino reported that numerous arrests had been made concerning protesters obstructing ICE operations during the raids conducted on Friday. He remarked, “And yes, multiple arrests have already been made for obstructing our operations. More are coming. We are pouring through the videos for more perpetrators. You bring chaos, and we’ll bring handcuffs. Law and order will prevail…The Right to assemble and protest does not include a license to attack law enforcement officers or impede lawful immigration operations. We are thoroughly reviewing the evidence from yesterday’s incident in Los Angeles and we are working with the U.S. Attorney’s Office to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice. The days of chaos ruling the streets are over. Either obey the law, or go to jail; there’s no third option.”

The violent clashes in Los Angeles were exacerbated by a statement from Democrat Mayor of Los Angeles, Karen Bass, who defiantly declared on Friday, “We will not stand for this,” in response to the ICE raids that sparked the unrest.

McLaughlin further criticized radical Democratic officials during her appearance on Fox News, stating, “Our ICE enforcement officers are facing a 413% increase in assaults against them. And we have seen, in recent days, their family members being doxxed and targeted, as well. Make no mistake, politicians like @RepJeffries, @AOC, and @Tim_Walz are contributing to the assaults of our officers through vilification and demonization—calling ICE the modern-day Nazi Gestapo and calling for their doxxing. These politicians and activists are siding with criminals over American victims. Our ICE operations in LA this week have resulted in the arrest of 118 individuals, including those with prior criminal histories of drug trafficking, assault, child cruelty, domestic violence, robbery, alien smuggling, and five gang members.”
