Filmmaker Yi Zhou has reiterated her claims against actor Jeremy Renner, despite his denial of sending her unsolicited sexual images of himself and threatening to report her to ICE. Zhou, who collaborated with Renner on the documentary “Chronicles of Disney,” made the shocking allegations in a series of Instagram posts. She revealed that Renner first contacted her in June, sending her unwanted pornographic images through WhatsApp and direct messaging.
Zhou also shared screenshots of her interactions with Renner on Instagram, along with photos taken with him, stating that the images are factual and that she has saved the metadata. In an interview with the Daily Mail, Zhou accused Renner of getting drunk and yelling for hours during a discussion about the documentary at his home, causing her to fear for her safety.
Renner’s spokesperson and attorney have refuted Zhou’s claims, calling them inaccurate and untrue. Renner’s legal team also accused Zhou of harassing and pursuing him, claiming that their encounters were consensual. They sent Zhou a cease-and-desist letter, warning her of legal action if she continues to spread false information.
Despite the legal threats, Zhou remains steadfast in her transparency and intention to share her side of the story. She continues to speak out on social media, emphasizing her commitment to honesty and openness in the face of the controversy.
