U.S. First Lady Melania Trump has played a pivotal role for the fourth time in reuniting children with their families after being separated due to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. This latest effort will see six Ukrainian minors, who have been residing in the Russian Federation, return to their homeland of Ukraine to be with their families.
“Reunifying children with their loved ones in this region of the world remains one of the most important global issues today. I am encouraged that both sides remain committed to ongoing cooperation, raising the safety and well-being of children above this abhorrent war.”
A seventh Ukrainian child is also scheduled to be brought back to family members later this month, as part of this ongoing initiative led by Mrs. Trump. First Lady Melania Trump and her representative are continually working with Russia and Ukraine to locate and reunite individuals who have been displaced by the ongoing conflict.
