Today, First Lady Melania Trump gathered First Spouses from 45 countries at the White House for a Global Summit focusing on artificial intelligence and education. This event, part of the Fostering the Future Together initiative, marks the largest international assembly ever hosted by a U.S. First Lady at the White House.
Representatives from nine countries, including the United States, France, Poland, the United Arab Emirates, and Morocco, shared their national strategies for integrating technology into education systems.
In her keynote speech, Mrs. Trump outlined three key pillars poised to shape future generations: utilizing artificial intelligence to tailor learning experiences, introducing humanoid educators as home-based tools for students, and leveraging technology and education to drive the American economy.
Highlighting a groundbreaking moment, Mrs. Trump unveiled an American-made humanoid system named Figure3, making this the first occasion such technology was presented to international leaders in a diplomatic setting at the White House.
“The future of AI is ‘personified’—it will take human form. Soon, artificial intelligence will transition from our mobile devices to humanoids that offer practical utility,” Mrs. Trump remarked, emphasizing a shift towards humanoids capable of direct interaction with users in everyday settings.

Welcome to the White House. Figure 3, thank you for joining me on Day 2 of Fostering the Future Together. It’s notable that you are my first American-made humanoid guest in the White House.
It is my distinct honor to host this remarkable group of leaders today. Forty-five of you have traveled from across the globe to represent your nations in this new coalition. I hope you found yesterday’s four-part working session and tech expo at the State Department insightful.

I urge each of you to take proactive steps following this inaugural summit: consider hosting a regional meeting, collaborate with the private sector, ensure tech access for those in need, draft innovative legislation to protect our children, partner with another member nation, form a committee, and be a catalyst for discovery.
Our world is indeed transforming, and with AI, we can now access centuries of humanity’s knowledge base.
The future of AI is ‘personified’—it will assume human form. Soon, artificial intelligence will evolve from mobile devices to humanoids that deliver practical utility. Since our environment is designed for people, humanoid systems are uniquely suited to navigate and operate within our world. They ‘fit’ well.
Imagine a humanoid educator named “Plato.” Access to classical studies becomes instantaneous—literature, science, art, philosophy, mathematics, and history—all available at home.
Plato offers a personalized experience, adapting to each student’s needs. Plato is eternally patient and always available. As a result, our children will develop deeper critical thinking and independent reasoning skills. The AI-powered Plato enhances analytical skills and problem-solving, adapting in real-time to a student’s pace, prior knowledge, and even emotional state.
The outcome—a more balanced lifestyle for our children—frees up time for friendships, sports, and interests beyond school, creating more well-rounded individuals. However, as discussed yesterday, we must temper our tech optimism with caution. The safety of our next generation remains paramount.
Knowledge is the cornerstone of civilization. While academia is fascinating, business is compelling. To truly advance technology and education, I encourage uniting the private and public sectors.
Yesterday’s State Department meeting showcased how tech innovation is modernizing our communities. It’s inspiring to be part of our future alongside industry leaders like Meta, Microsoft, OpenAI, X, Palantir, Google, Zoom, and Adobe, each serving as a catalyst for discovery.
We can accelerate the march of civilization by ensuring enterprises deliver innovation, governments create scale, and capital markets finance the distribution of these emerging technologies.
Fostering the Future Together is founded on the belief that efficiencies from artificial intelligence will enhance various aspects of society, including commerce, healthcare, and food security, ultimately benefiting all economies.
We stand at a pivotal moment due to artificial intelligence—The Age of Imagination. Humanity has witnessed such transformative times before—during the Industrial Revolution, the advent of electricity, the space race, and the birth of the internet.
This technology may redefine the modern world order and shift power dynamics. Your children must be prepared to thrive within this framework. Our coalition can realize this vision by supporting concrete initiatives that equip young people with necessary skills—invest, expand access, and foster new opportunities.
America—We have a duty to ensure our children become the most technologically proficient and highly educated generation globally. By doing so, the United States will secure long-term economic superiority, driving GDP growth, attracting global investment, and controlling what may be the most critical future asset—Intellectual Property.
