WASHINGTON, D.C. – First Lady Melania Trump has unveiled an enticing preview of the upcoming 2025 White House Easter Egg Roll, set to take place on Monday, April 21, 2025. This year’s festivities promise a delightful blend of fun, education, and unforgettable experiences for families and children nationwide.

In a nod to the 250th anniversary of America’s founding, the America250 initiative will transform the South Lawn into a vibrant historical playground. Young attendees can immerse themselves in the past by signing their own mini-Declaration of Independence, donning costumes inspired by the Founding Fathers, and engaging with an activity book titled George the Star: An America250 Story.

This year’s event will continue the cherished traditions of the Egg Roll and Egg Hunt, featuring genuine small- and medium-sized eggs graciously donated by American egg farmers. Moreover, thanks to the White House Historical Association and its various partners, guests can look forward to a diverse range of entertaining activities, including:

  • A Be Best Military Card Writing Station, where children can express their gratitude to American troops.
  • Be Best Hopscotch, designed for our most energetic young guests.
  • A Space Exploration Experience, presented by NASA, for budding astronauts.
  • A Hen to Home Activity, brought to you by the American Egg Board.
