On Monday, August 17, 2026, First Lady Melania Trump successfully reunited another child with their family, who had been separated during the conflict between Ukraine and the Russian Federation.
“There is nothing more powerful than bringing a mother and her child back together after a long separation. My representative and I are committed to helping facilitate the next reunification of individuals who have been separated from their loved ones due to the war between Ukraine and Russia,” stated First Lady Melania Trump.
So far, Melania Trump’s initiatives have led to the reunification of 34 children and their families since she wrote the Peace Letter to Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
