‘Five-Star Weekend’ Peacock Series Adds Three to Cast

Peacock’s highly anticipated series adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s novel “The Five-Star Weekend” has just announced the addition of three talented recurring cast members. According to exclusive reports from Variety, Judy Greer, West Duchovny, and Tory Devon Smith are set to join the star-studded ensemble.

The trio will be joining a stellar lineup that includes Jennifer Garner, Regina Hall, Chloë Sevigny, Gemma Chan, D’Arcy Carden, Harlow Jane, Timothy Olyphant, David Denman, Josh Hamilton, and Rob Huebel.

The series follows the story of Hollis Shaw, portrayed by Jennifer Garner, a renowned food influencer who is known for her culinary expertise and warm personality. After experiencing a tragic loss, Hollis finds herself at a crossroads, struggling with her marriage, relationship with her daughter, and the need for validation from her online followers. In an attempt to heal and rediscover herself, Hollis decides to host a weekend getaway on Nantucket with three close friends from different stages of her life, along with a surprise fifth guest. Against the backdrop of a luxurious coastal setting, the group embarks on a journey of self-discovery, pushing boundaries and revealing long-held secrets.

Judy Greer will take on the role of Electra, while West Duchovny will play Aubrey, and Tory Devon Smith will portray John Mark. Greer is represented by Artists First, CAA, and Felker Toczek, Smith by Gray Talent Group and McGuffin Management, and Duchovny by UTA, Untitled, Nelson Davis, and Shelter PR.

The series is created and written by Bekah Brunstetter, who also serves as an executive producer alongside Beth Schacter. Jennifer Garner will not only star in the series but also executive produce. Sue Naegle and Ali Krug will executive produce through Dinner Party Productions, with Elin Hilderbrand also on board as an executive producer. The series is produced by UCP, with Dinner Party Productions currently under an overall deal with UCP.
