SUNRISE, Fla. — The Florida Panthers secured their second consecutive Stanley Cup victory by defeating the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 of the final, making them the NHL’s first back-to-back champions since Tampa Bay in 2020 and ’21.

Sam Reinhart’s four-goal performance in the final made him only the sixth player in NHL history to achieve this feat, the first since Maurice Richard in 1957. Matthew Tkachuk sealed the win with the Cup-clinching goal.

Following the victory, celebrations ensued as Panthers players rejoiced in their triumph while the Oilers faced defeat.

Commissioner Gary Bettman presented the trophy to captain Aleksander Barkov, emphasizing the Panthers’ remarkable achievement.
