Introducing the Budget-Friendly Pixel Watch Series-A
After advocating for a Pixel smart ring, my next big request for Google wearables in 2025 is the introduction of a Pixel Watch Series-A, rather than simply continuing with the Pixel Watch 4.
Google has already showcased its ability to create exceptional smartwatches, with the Pixel Watch consistently being a top favorite in the market. However, it’s time to broaden the range to include a more affordable model.
Not everyone can afford a high-end smartwatch, and while opting for a previous generation model may offer good value, it may still be out of reach for many consumers. Currently, the Pixel Watch 2 is priced at £239.
I’m talking about a sub-£200/$200 option to compete with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE and other budget-friendly smartwatches. Even Apple has its wallet-friendly Apple Watch SE 2 in the lineup.

Picture a more affordable Pixel Watch 3 with a sleek design and impressive features. While there may be some compromises in materials and specs, it’s definitely achievable.
Google has a track record of producing outstanding A-series devices, such as the highly praised Pixel 8a and the A-version of the Pixel Buds. So, why not extend this success to the Pixel Watch range? It seems like a winning formula to me. Additionally, I believe that Motorola should consider re-entering the smartwatch market in the UK.
