A former WWE star has revealed an incident where she was assaulted by a man at WrestleCon. She confronted the individual and addressed the situation publicly. This wrestler was released by WWE in May 2025 after a four-year tenure with the company.
Elayna Black, previously known as Cora Jade in WWE, took to social media today to report the assault she experienced at WrestleCon. She pursued the man and recorded a video while confronting him about his actions. The video can be viewed in the social media post linked below.
Thanks for the submission!
“Just got sexually assaulted by a fan at WrestleCon! If anyone sees this guy ban him from anything ever,” she wrote.
During her time in NXT, Elayna Black teamed up with Roxanne Perez, and together they won the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championships. Roxanne Perez is currently part of The Judgment Day on RAW and will not be competing at WrestleMania 42 this year. While Black did not win a singles title in WWE, she is now performing in TNA Wrestling.
Elayna Black opens up about returning to WWE someday
Elayna Black recently discussed her release from WWE last year and her openness to a possible return in the future.
In an interview on the Insight podcast with Chris Van Vliet, Black expressed that she is still young and believes there is potential for her to return to WWE. She reflected positively on her experience with the company and the people she met.
“Definitely, I feel like the door [is open]. I’m 24 years old. I feel like I didn’t end on horrible terms there. Like I said, yes, there’s things that p****d me off, but I’m human and I love wrestling, so that’s only natural, but I’m not gonna sit here and be like, ‘Oh my God, my time there was so horrible. I never wanna go back.’ Absolutely not. I loved my time there. I loved the people I met there. I feel like anything is possible,” she said.
The future of Elayna Black in professional wrestling is something to watch, especially regarding a potential return to WWE.
