Roman Reigns has reclaimed his position at the top of WWE, following his triumph over CM Punk at WrestleMania 42. As the World Heavyweight Champion, he has already successfully defended his title twice and appears poised to enter SummerSlam 2026 with the championship belt.
Since making his return to WWE in 2020, Reigns is credited with boosting the careers of various stars, including Sami Zayn, Cody Rhodes, and Jacob Fatu. Former World Heavyweight Champion Booker T recently praised Reigns, referring to him as one of the best WWE Superstars of the last two decades.

During a recent episode of the Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T spoke with The Undertaker about the significance of storytelling in professional wrestling. The WCW legend highlighted how Reigns consistently enhances the performance of his opponents in the ring, acknowledging him as a master storyteller of the modern era.
“One guy I think about all the time when we talk about the guy that got it. That’s Roman. Roman Reigns is one of the best wrestlers that we’ve seen in the last couple of decades. I mean, he really is as far as storytelling goes and I say that because the bar has always been not how good you look but how good you can make someone else look. When I watch Roman, no matter who he’s in the ring, that person look [sic] better than they’ve looked with anybody else.”

Roman Reigns took a subtle jab at The Rock on WWE RAW
Roman Reigns made his return to WWE RAW this week after being absent from the previous Monday’s show. During the episode, he delivered an impassioned promo and officially welcomed Jacob Fatu to The Bloodline.
In his RAW promo, Reigns paid tribute to the Anoa’i-Fatu family members, emphasizing how legends like Yokozuna, Rikishi, and the Wild Samoans set the stage for him and The Usos in WWE. Interestingly, he did not mention The Rock when discussing the greats of the real-life Bloodline.
The Final Boss, recognized as a significant figure from the Attitude Era and one of the most successful superstars from the Samoan lineage, was notably left out of Reigns’ remarks. This omission appears to be a subtle dig at the 10-time WWE World Champion from Reigns.
