Larimer County authorities are currently conducting a search for Larry Baker, an 80-year-old avid fisherman and resident of Fort Collins. Baker left his home around 7:30 a.m. on Monday and was subsequently reported missing on Tuesday, as reported by the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.

Search and rescue teams have extensively searched the lake, wildlife area, and nearby Poudre River utilizing various resources such as dogs, drones, sonar equipment, ground crews, and scuba divers over the course of two days. However, no information regarding Baker’s whereabouts has been uncovered. The lake has since been reopened to the public on Thursday afternoon.
Baker is described as a white male, standing at 5 feet 8 inches tall with white hair, facial hair, and glasses. He was last seen wearing jeans and a light blue shirt underneath a striped shirt.
If anyone has any information or may have seen Baker in the Watson Lake area on Monday or Tuesday, they are urged to contact the sheriff’s office at 970-498-5360.
