President Trump recently took to social media to express his concerns about Russian President Putin in light of Russia’s recent assault on Ukraine. Trump, who has always claimed to have a good relationship with Putin, stated that “something has happened” to him following the attack.
Political analyst Hume, however, refuted Trump’s claim that Putin’s behavior had changed. According to Hume, Trump has always had a misguided view of Putin, believing they could be friends and make deals together. Hume emphasized that Putin has always been a brutal dictator, willing to take extreme measures to further his own interests.
Despite Trump’s apparent realization about Putin, Hume urged him to take decisive action, such as increasing support for Ukraine, to help end the conflict as promised during his 2024 campaign.
