Gowdy, a Republican former South Carolina congressman, compared watching the movie “Silence of the Lambs” to looking at the stock market, which he found less scary.
Gowdy pointed out that despite the president’s insistence on tariffs, other countries are also implementing retaliatory measures, leading to market instability. “So, where does that leave us?” Gowdy pondered.

The uncertainty surrounding the tariffs has caused businesses and individuals to pause their plans, highlighting the need for a significant tax cut bill to boost the economy.
